Course for obtaining an A license
The regulation that came into force on January 19, 2013 provides for three different types of category "A" licenses:
- A for candidates over 20 years old already holding an A2 license for 2 years, unrestricted power.
- A for candidates over 24 years old, unrestricted power;
- A2 for adult candidates aged between 18 and 24 years, max power 35 Kw;
- A1 for underage candidates, engine capacity 125 cm3, maximum power 11 Kw;
It is possible to obtain the A2 or A license through "progressive access" without an exam, that is, after attending a specific practical training course at the driving school.
Requirements to enroll in the training course
- for category A2, including special:
- minimum age: 18 years
- possession of an A1 license, including special, for at least 2 years
N.B. the A1 license, automatically recognized without an exam, valid only for driving in Italy, for those who have obtained a B license, is not valid
- for category A, including special:
- minimum age: 20 years
- possession of an A2 license, including special, for at least 2 years.
N.B. THOSE WHO ALREADY HOLD ANOTHER LICENSE DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE THE COURSE AND THE THEORY EXAM!
The Theory Course
The theoretical teaching methodology makes use of multimedia supports and the lessons take place according to a continuous cycle schedule that can be viewed on our website. The lessons are self-contained so that each new student can start at any time. The course consists of 22 lessons that can be repeated for up to 12 months at no additional cost. You have the opportunity to take 2 theoretical exam attempts and 3 practical exam attempts.
The Driving Course
The driving lesson is held individually and by appointment. Our motorcycles are equipped with protections in case of a fall. The exam consists of a timed skills test and a road test. Our instructors pay particular attention to the use of sight, teaching students to process information coming from the road environment to anticipate dangerous situations through techniques called AEI (attention, age, intention) and TBB (track, edge, base) because for us...
